Who We Are
AntLabs operates an online retail store offering technology, electronics, accessories, smart devices, gaming products, audio products, vehicle technology, smart-home products, and related goods.
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce infrastructure used to operate our website and process certain customer information.
For purposes of South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), AntLabs acts as the responsible party for personal information where AntLabs determines the purposes and means of processing that information.

Payment providers may process payment-card details, bank information or other payment credentials. AntLabs generally receives transaction and payment-confirmation information rather than complete payment-card details where those details are processed directly by the payment provider.

Payment Providers
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers made available through our checkout, which may include PayFast or other approved payment processors where applicable.
Those providers may process payment information in accordance with their own terms, security procedures and privacy policies.
AntLabs does not control the independent processing activities of those payment providers.
Shipping, Suppliers and Fulfilment Partners
AntLabs may provide relevant customer information to suppliers, fulfilment providers, warehouses and couriers where necessary to prepare, dispatch, deliver, track, return or replace an order.
The information provided will generally be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service, such as the customer's name, contact details, delivery address and order information.
Because AntLabs may use international suppliers or fulfilment services, some personal information may be processed outside South Africa.

AntLabs takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, destruction or unlawful disclosure.
We also expect service providers that process personal information on our behalf to maintain appropriate security safeguards.
However, no internet service, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention
AntLabs retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently lawfully processed.
Information may be retained for longer where required or permitted by law, where necessary for accounting or tax purposes, to resolve disputes, process warranties or returns, investigate fraud, maintain transaction records or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
When AntLabs is no longer authorised or required to retain personal information, it will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified as appropriate and reasonably practicable.

Under POPIA, these may include the right to request confirmation about whether AntLabs holds personal information relating to you, request access to that information, request correction or deletion of inaccurate or unlawfully processed information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and object to direct marketing.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your personal information has been processed contrary to applicable law.

AntLabs' services are intended primarily for adults.
A person under the age of 18 should use the website or make purchases only with the involvement or authorisation of a parent, guardian or other competent person where required.
AntLabs does not knowingly process children's personal information contrary to applicable law. If we become aware that children's personal information has been collected or processed without the authorisation required by law, we will take appropriate steps regarding that information.
